September 11, 2006 is the first meeting of the year for the Chapel Hill Town Council. We are welcoming in a new manager, and are not short of many interesting items to come before us and discuss! What is on your minds? What would you like the council to accomplish this year or do differently, given that we have a new council (elections last November) and a new manager?
What would be your top concern? UNC’s Carolina North? Property taxes this year? Downtown parking, real or perceived crime, building density downtown? Growth? Increase in commercial tax base? What?
I’d love to know what others are thinking. Hearing from others in an informal atmosphere will help me make decisions that better the Town of Chapel Hill.
